A reputable bottle manufacturing company had increased demand for its products on one of the manual bottles picking and sorting production lines. Facing a labor shortage, the company turned to seek automation solutions. ICA approached project with our comprehensive 5 step process. We were able to pick and place bottles along with vision inspection within specified cycle time 5.5 seconds while exceeding machine OEE of 93%. This enabled the company to reallocate labor resources to other processes in the plant. Our pick and place solution using Universal Robots UR10e, Cognex vision inspection and custom build tooling.
