A Tier 1 automotive parts supplier maintaining round-the-clock production operations engaged ICA to diagnose and cure intermittent faults with its assembly machinery and instrumentation motion controller. The equipment in questions was obsolete, and legacy parts could not be sourced, so we designed a solution based on an upgrade to state-of-the-art servos and motion PLC. The client recognized that as a Certified Mitsubishi System Integration Partner, ICA is uniquely qualified to handle sensitive and mission-critical projects such as this. We dispatched our dedicated team of technicians, engineers and programmers who completed the total PLC and 5-axis motion controls replacement in less than one weekend. The distributor was able to restart full production as scheduled on Sunday night.
